Breadiator and A Thread Through All I Do by Melissa Browder Beck

I’ve always loved the features of this apartment, the old radiators, the thickly painted endless lanes of molding, the olive green bathroom. In these shapes and spaces I’ve found comfort as they surround me and my life day after day, year after year. Even though they’re quiet and blend into the background, they’re always present. As I’m fascinated, I long to see these objects animated beyond mere structure and familiar entities. I want for their presence to be surprising rather than mundane, to feel new life in the things we see and live amongst every day.
